Nomads in Paradise 2026 – Siargao, Philippines

October 18 - 25, 2026
Siargao, Philippines🇵🇭

There are islands you visit. And there are islands that change the way you think about work, connection, and what a week can actually feel like.

Siargao is the second kind. The surfing capital of the Philippines, a place that regularly tops lists of the world's most beautiful islands, and the home of Nomads in Paradise, October 18 to 25, 2026.

This is not a typical conference. Capped at 150 people, it runs from Ocean 101 Resort in Cloud 9, a beachfront venue directly on the island's most famous surf break. The morning sessions run Monday through Friday so your afternoons belong to the ocean, the coworking spaces, or whatever you feel like doing on a tropical island.

What is included in the ticket?

The ticket covers the welcome party, all keynote speeches, workshops and mastermind sessions, multiple networking rounds, unconference sessions, a JobConnect session, a Startup Pitch event, a group surfing lesson with Vultun, daily group yoga sessions, one ice bath discovery session, and a farewell and closing party. Accommodation and flights are not included.

What are the ticket prices?

Tickets start at 5,999 PHP, roughly 103 USD, making this one of the most affordable full-week nomad events in the world. Prices increase every 15 tickets and on the 1st of every month, so earlier is cheaper.

Who organizes Nomads in Paradise?

The event is organized by Jan Richter, a German digital nomad and global promoter of the Philippines as a nomad destination, and Orly Darnayla, a local operator who manages Baybayin Hub on Siargao. Their combined mission is to connect the global nomad scene with Filipino local talent and entrepreneurs.

How do I get to Siargao?

Fly into Cebu (CEB) from major hubs across Southeast and East Asia. From Cebu it is a 30-minute domestic flight to Siargao Airport (IAO). From Manila (MNL) there are direct flights, though typically more expensive. Budget flyers can also take an overnight ferry from Cebu to Surigao City and then a 2 to 4 hour ferry to Dapa on Siargao.

What is the internet like in Siargao?

Better than you expect. Since 2023, General Luna has fiber internet reaching up to 300Mbps in business areas. Starlink is available islandwide at 50 to 150Mbps. Dedicated coworking exists at AlterSpace in Cloud 9, and the organizers provide an updated guide of fiber and Starlink-equipped cafes with your ticket.

What about island hopping?

The Adventure ticket includes a full day island hopping trip to multiple offshore islands and sandbars, including a boodle fight lunch cooked fresh on the boat. Siargao's famous bioluminescent plankton, lagoon tours, and firefly mangroves are also on the evening agenda.

Are there local discounts?

Yes. Filipino citizens from other islands working on local salaries can write directly to the organizers to request a discounted rate. Locals on the island can visit partner venues including AlterSpace, Rucksack Inn, and Crossfit Siargao for local pricing.

Come a week early if you can. Stay a week after. Siargao rewards the unhurried.
