Digital Nomads Hiroshima is a community project connecting digital nomads and travelers with authentic local experiences in Hiroshima and the wider Setouchi region of Japan. Founded by Shoko Hirose, a Hiroshima-native and copywriter, who wants to bridge the gap between the global nomad community and the locals, places, and culture of western Japan.
Their approach goes beyond coworking and conferences. Through curated events, cultural programs, and community building, they create genuine connections between visiting remote workers and local communities, helping people experience Japan not as tourists, but as temporary residents.
Digital Nomads Hiroshima is the team behind Japan's first long-stay nomad event led by individual nomads, and continues to organize annual gatherings in the region.
